Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has praised Ghana's Thomas Partey, stating that the Black Stars deputy captain doesn't get the recognition he deserves.
Rice highlighted Partey's calmness on the field, which benefits the team.
"The best thing about playing with Thomas is the calmness he brings to play with the team," Rice said. "He doesn't always get the recognition he deserves. I'm quite lucky Thomas is there, and he lets me roam up and down."
Partey is in the final months of his contract with Arsenal, and negotiations between his camp and the Gunners on a new deal have been reported.
Rice's comments come ahead of Arsenal's crucial UEFA Champions League semifinals clash against Paris Saint-Germain in France.
