Richmond Boakye-Yiadom completes Juventus move

Ghana striker Richmond Boakye has officially completed his transfer to Juventus. 

The 18-year-old will move to Turin on a co-ownership basis after terms were agreed with Genoa.

Boakye initially displayed his talents featuring for Genoa’s Primavera side, winning the Scudetto, Coppa Italia and two Italian Super Cups with the Rossoblu.

He was handed his Serie A debut in 2010 and went on to make a further eight appearances over the next two years, finding the target on a single occasion.

A loan move to Sassuolo enabled the Ghanaian to get some experience under his belt, a chance he seized with both hands, firing 12 goals in 34 appearances.

The 19-year-old has already caught the eye with some impressive showings on the club’s pre-season tour of Val d’Aosta.
