Brazilian superstar Robinho has lauded the quality of his new AC Milan team-mate Sulley Muntari after the 27-year-old scored on his debut for the club.

Muntari, on loan from rivals Inter Milan, opened the scoring for the Rossoneris in their 3-1 win at Cesena last Sunday.

Robinho who has hit a purple patch in recent games says Muntari adds a lot to the AC Milan team.

"He's a determined player who will add plenty to the team. He comes with experience and playing with him was a bit easier because of his quality," Robinho said.

The former Real Madrid winger says the entire team is happy with Muntari's show.

"Everyone was happy for him in the dressing room and hopefully he will score more."

AC Milan boss Massimilano Allegri believes Muntari will silence his critics.
