Roma and AC Milan could be about do battle over Genoa winger Diego Perotti in the January transfer window.
Both sides are looking to improve their squads in January, with the Giallorossi chasing the Scudetto and Milan seeking Champions League football.
According to Sportmediaset.it both clubs are interested in the Argentine who has impressed observers of Serie A with his direct running and creativity since joining the Grifone.
However, the Rossoblu currently find themselves in a relegation dogfight and are unlikely to be willing to sell their best player halfway through the season.
Perotti was the subject of interest from the likes of Inter and Napoli during the summer. Genoa even accepted a bid from English Premier League side Watford yet no move materialised.
This season Perotti has scored one goal and created one assist.
