Martin Caceres is the latest player to be linked with a move to Roma.
The Juventus defender has struggled for game time this season, only making three appearances for the Bianconeri in Serie A this season, and maybe open to a move away from Turin.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma have joined the race with Liverpool to sign the Uruguayan international.
The 28-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season, however, Juventus are reported to be very keen to the player as a member of their squad.
The Giallorossi are looking to strengthen their defence, after conceding 22 goals in the first half of the Serie A season, more than any other side in the race for the Scudetto.
Premier League giants Liverpool are also interested in signing Caceres in order to bolster their defensive ranks.
