AS Roma sporting director Tiago Pinto is interested in Ajax defender Jurrien Timber.
La Gazzetta dello Sport says Pinto has been keeping tabs on the Dutchman this season as he seeks a new defensive signing.
A move in January for Timber hasn't been ruled out.
Bayern Munich are also interested, with Timber having rejected a move to Manchester United last summer.
Ajax rate the defender in the €45m class.
