Warring Roma personalities Luciano Spalletti and Francesco Totti have held a private meeting to clear the air.
Giallorossi icon Totti was dramatically sent home from the squad on Sunday after an interview broadcast the day before where he demanded more respect from his coach, and as the story continues to dominate Italian media the pair have held discussions.
According to Retesport, the duo’s meeting after training was a positive one and a mutual understanding has been reached.
Totti and the former Zenit tactician clarified their views on the situation and have made the first steps towards rebuilding their relationship, which has also caused a rift between Roma supporters who are torn between which party to back in the row.
Roma next play on Saturday evening, as they make the trip to Empoli, who haven’t won in seven games.
