Roma goalkeeper Alisson is delighted with his progress this season in Italy.

The 24-year-old is second choice at the Stadio Olimpico behind Wojciech Szczesny, but impressed in the Europa League and Coppa Italia.

“Marco Savorani, the goalkeeping coach, has done a great job with me, adding characteristics of Italian football and the Italian school of thought to my game," declared Alisson.

“This has really given a lot to my career and you can see my progress in the performances for Brazil.

“I am also improving with my feet and making the right choices in my passing now. Claudio Taffarel observes and gives advice, while I do more practical training here in Brazil."
