Roma make surprise move for Inter midfielder

Roma are ready to make an audacious move to sign Inter midfielder Marcelo Brozovic during the summer transfer window.

The two teams are currently in the midst of a battle for Serie A’s third Champions League spot, however the Giallorossi are already making plans for next season and may be targeting the Croatian international as a possible replacement for Radja Nainggolan who has been linked with a move to Chelsea.

According to Corriere dello Sport, the Lupi coach Luciano Spalletti is keen to add Brozovic to his midfield with the club are prepared to start the negotiations by offering winger Adem Ljajic and full-back Dodo in exchange for the midfielder.

This season Brozovic, a former Dinamo Zagreb star, has scored three goals and created another three during 24 appearances in Serie A.
