THIAGO SILVA paid tribute to his wife Belle after scoring in Chelsea's 2-0 win over Tottenham.

It is the third goal scored by the Brazilian this season with his other Premier League strike also coming against Spurs.

And as he did at The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Silva kissed his ring finger and pointed in wife Belle's direction - he also made a heart shape with his hands.

His wife took notice and shared her appreciation for the gesture on social media.

She said: "17 years later and I'm still the one in his thoughts when he scores a goal. Love you."

Writing in response to a photo Belle posted of him, Silva wrote: "Love you."

Belle has previously endeared herself to the Chelsea support with a video she took during a match against Leicester last season.

She said with a big smile on her face: "We hate Tottenham! Chelsea!"
