Cristiano Ronaldo won't just go down in history for being one of the best at his peak, but also for his longevity.
At 32 or 33 most players would take a backwards step, play in a less competitive competition or go to a mid-table club. Cristiano has not done that.
After winning the Champions League at 33 with Real Madrid, Cristiano went to Juventus, another top European club who also fight for major trophies.
What's more, he signed a contract to keep him at the Italian club until June 2022, at which point he'll be 37 years of age.
Cristiano hasn't taken his foot of the gas in Italy either. He's the Bianconeri's top goalscorer and he still wants to win the Ballon d'Or, something that no other player in history has achieved at his age.
It's not just about being at the top of his game at 35, but also the fact he has been so consistent over his 17-year professional career.
Ever since Cristiano left Sporting CP for Manchester United, the Portuguese forward has only had one thing on his mind: winning trophies.
He has spent almost 20 years at three of the biggest clubs in Europe. He's always been an undoubted starter and his performances have never dropped.
If you also include what he's managed with the Portuguese national team, he now has 31 trophies in his cabinet.
Even Lionel Messi doesn't seem willing to follow him in playing at a high level at such an age.
At the moment, it seems the Argentine doesn't want to play until he's 37. It's not certain he'll keep going past 35, although he does appear to be physically and mentally prepared for it.
With Messi hot on his heels, nobody can deny that what Cristiano is doing is extraordinary.
To be 35 years-old and still competing and winning in a time when teams play up to 80 games a season is nothing short of incredible.
And it doesn't look as if he plans on stopping any time soon.
