Ronaldo's sister sparks controversy by jetting to Brazil despite COVID-19 crisis

Cristiano Ronaldo's sister Katia Aveiro has run the risk of angering authorities after she jetted off to Brazil despite the ongoing coronavirus crisis.

The 43-year-old has spent the last month with her family in Madeira, but has now travelled to the South American country to be with her partner.

Aveiro will now spend Easter with her boyfriend – Alexandre Bertolucci – after she flew out to Brazil with the couple’s six-month old daughter Valentina.

A source told Correio da Manha: “Life goes on and Katia will resume hers.”

It has been claimed that Bertolucci stayed in Brazil as he manages his family restaurant in Gramado.

And it’s not just Katia that is on the move, as her brother Cristiano has swapped his luxury townhouse for a £3,500-a-week rented home near a quiet fishing village.
