Rooney not happy with two-goal Man Utd performance
Wayne Rooney admits he was not at his best despite scoring two goals in Manchester United’s 4-0 home win over Aston Villa yesterday.

The 26-year old striker netted his 30th and 31st goals of the season (in all competitions) but feels that he could have given more to his team which again went five points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

"It was nice to score two goals but I didn't think my performance was good enough," he said.

"The rest of my play wasn't great. I am disappointed with that and I will be working hard to put it right."
