USL – Ropapa assists in Kansas City II draw with LA Galaxy II:

Ropapa Mensah played the entire duration of the match at the Dignity Health Sports Park in California.

Sporting KC II shared the spoils with La Galaxy II in their 4th match in the 2021 USL Championship.

Both sides kept their posts tight at halftime despite getting some decent goalscoring opportunities.

On the hour mark, Ropapa hit the side post with a lob over the goalkeeper after being put through on goal, he gathered the loose ball and set it for D. ReSetar to slot in.

J. Hernandez restored parity for the home side thirteen minutes later and helped the side to secure a point in their 7th match of the season.

With the game getting stretched in the closing stages, Sporting II had one final chance to win it as Ropapa dribbled at the Galaxy II backline in stoppage time and was brought down in the area, but referee waved away the appeals as the two sides split the points.

Sporting II are right back in action on Saturday, May 22 with another road trip to face Indy Eleven at Lucas Oil Stadium.
