The secret to success as a professional footballer is to have a very good attitude and behaviour, President of Right to Dream Academy, Tom Vernon has told his students.

This was the key advice given at the academy's annual end of year party and awards held at the plush Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra on Friday.

Several students and were rewarded for excelling in various categories during the calendar year with the flagship award of overall best and significant contribution going to now Ghana international Mohammed Abu.

And during his key note advice to the students, Vernon singled out Abu as an epitome of good behaviour hence his career progress and asked his students aspiring for greatness to emulate the footsteps of the Man City loanee at Stromgodset.

"Abu came into this academy as a raw talent like most of you but his tremendous attitude and behaviour towards the game was phenomenon," he said.

"Talent can not get you success as a professional but good behaviour can and even do more for you and that is why at our academy we are very particular about the individual's attitudinal development.

"All for all you young ones dreaming of becoming like Abu or any other player I advice you keep your discipline and behaviour intact and you will definitely make it. Maybe not as a footballer but as a very successful person."
