Real Tamale United Board Member Jones Alhassan Abu says it is too early to start projecting the fortunes of the side upon their return to the Ghanaian top flight.

The Tamale-based club won back promotion into the Premier League within just a year of going down.

RTU were very impressive in the Middle League playoffs where they won all three games in impressive style.

Many have however started weighing the team’s chances upon their return to the Premier League but Alhassan Abu says it has come too early.

“It is too early to start talking about the team’s chances in the Premier League,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“The team just qualified and are on their way back to Tamale. They (players) will take a rest and the board is yet to meet to review the campaign.

“So until all these things are done, I think it will be improper for anyone to start forecasting the fortunes of the team.”
