Ruben Acquah cleared fit for SV Reid's clash against Lafnitz in Austria

Midfielder Ruben Acquah has been declared fit for SV Reid's clash against Lafnitz in the Austrian Ertse Liga after an injury scare Armstetten last Sunday. 

The in-form midfielder had to be replaced in the 85th minute after he appeared to be in pains.

However, manager Gerald Baumgartner has confirmed the Ghanaian midfielder is fit for the game against Lafnitz.

“Reuben Acquah went into the game against Amstetten. He then felt the injury more during the game. Bojan Lugonja is back in team training after his illness. Everyone is fit with the current status, ”says Gerald Baumgartner, sporting director and head coach of SV Guntamatic Ried.

The game which was expected to come off this weekend could be post over the spread of the coronavirus.

Despite the postponement of the match,  striker Bernd Gschweidl maintains the Ertse Liga leaders won't have it easy against Lafnitz.

“It will be a difficult game against Lafnitz again. Every team gives everything against the leaders and wants to take away points. But we go into the match with confidence, play in front of our fans at home. The coaching team will prepare us for the opponent in the best possible way in the game preparation, ”said Gschweidl.
