Ruben Acquah shines as SV Ried defeat Lafnitz

Ghanaian midfielder Ruben Acquah played a key role as SV Ried defeated SV Lafnitz 3-1 to maintain their grip at the top of the Erstse Liga. 

Acquah was influential in the middle of the park spreading brilliant passes, tackling and breaking up play in the  against SV Lafnitz.

The former Liberty Professionals player played for 76 minutes before he was replaced by Arne Ammerer.

Jefte opened the scoring for Ried after 20 minutes before Thomas Reifeltshammer added the second thirteen minutes later.

The visitors pulled one back through Kresimir Kovacevic in the 75th minute before Bernd Gschweidl  hit the final nail in Lafnitz's coffin with four minutes left.

SV Ried is currently first on the Liga 2 league table after 20 matches with 48 points, with SK Austria Klagenfurt in second place with 37 points after 19 matches.
