Former Asante Kotoko forward Saddick Adams has told his ex-teammate Sogne Yacouba to "keep his cool" and not listen to people following his goal drought in the CAF Confederations Cup.

The Burkinabe forward has been on a run of seven games without a goal for the Porcupine Warriors.

Yacouba has not scored in the club's CAF Confederations Cup campaign, leaving fans of the club worried over the form of the lethal attacker. Many have blamed the striker's barren run to "Black Magic".

However, Saddick Adams advised Yacouba to remain calm and focus as he rediscovers his scoring boots.

” Yacouba is not scoring but he is doing well for the team, so I think it’s just a matter of time. I had a discussion with him and I told him not to listen what others say, he should just keep his cool and the goals will come at the right time In Sha Allah ”

Adams is confident Asante Kotoko can reach the quarter finals of the competition urging them to try pick points on the road.

“Sure they can, because every team is trying not to drop points at home and I think it’s what Kotoko must also. They have good team and I hope they qualify for the next stage. They have to get some points away from home,” he concluded.
