Ghanaian midfielder Samad Oppong has signed three years for Cypriot top-flight side Ethnikos Achnas, MTNFootball.com can exclusively reveal.
Oppong put pen to paper last month after a three-week training session with the Achniotes.
Ethnikos Achnas have reached an agreement with New Edubiase United where he last played.
He impressed head coach Nikos Kolompourdas after playing in five pre-season matches and providing three assists but no goals.
The 25 year-old is set to make his league debut on Sunday when Ethnikos Achnas host AEL at the Stadio Dasaki Achnas.
Oppong wants to revive his career after an injury-plagued season saw him play only nine matches in the Ghana Premier League.
His last move abroad was unsuccessful after a failed stint with Algerian side Entente Sportive de Setif.
