Sampdoria were out at training at a fairly empty Bogliasco yesterday morning and afternoon.
Minus the players away on international duty, the Blucerchiati got down to a session involving a technique-based warm-up, various drills and fitness work in the morning. After lunch, the focus was on possession in tight spaces and more fitness.
On the injury front, Gastón RamÃrez, Riccardo Saponara and Lorenzo Tonelli all had personalised sessions, while Edgar Barreto and Gianluca Caprari are not yet ready for pitch-work yet so continued their returns to fitness separately.
The squad will be back in training this afternoon.
