Patrik Schick has been cleared to return to training.

Sampdoria striker Patrik Schick has been cleared to return to full training, increasing the likelihood that Inter Milan could move for him.

Czech Republic international Schick had been on the verge of joining Juventus earlier this summer when a heart irregularity was discovered during his medical and the move fell through.

He underwent specialist tests on Wednesday, with the results confirming that he could return to full training.

"We were already quite relaxed about it, but we wanted to be careful so we came to this top-level cardiology centre, renowned throughout Europe, and they confirmed that the lad's fine," club doctor Amedeo Baldari told reporters outside the Monzino cardiology centre in Milan.

"The problems [which saw the move to Juventus break down] do not exist. He's fit and healthy. No further tests are necessary."

Schick's return will alert Inter, with Juventus not expected to table any new bid.
