Defender Samuel Adade says Medeama fans have helped turn the Sekondi stadium into a ‘slaughterhouse’ on their debut Africa campaign.

The Mauve and Yellows have won all three CAF Confederation Cup home games in impressive fashion- scoring seven goals in the process and conceding none.

They recorded a 2-0 win over Zesco United in the penultimate qualifying round on Sunday which followed their 3-0 win over Maghreb de Fes and a 2-0 success over Equitorial Guinea side Panthers FC.

And the right-back, who joined the side from King Faisal at the start of the season, has credited the Sekondi fans for their fine home performances.

“The credit should go to the fans. They have been amazing and we’ll hope to reward them with qualification,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

“Sekondi has been good home for us and it’s my prayer that we can scale the hurdle against Zesco this weekend.

“The venue has now become a slaughterhouse for visiting teams and we’ll hope to continue in tat regard.”

Medeama will travel to Zambia on Wednesday ahead of Sunday’s return tie against the Ya Ziko.
