Ghanaian youngster Samuel Brobbey says he has to be patient as he set sights on breaking into the first team of Almere City.
The 21-year old scored twice as Jong Almere City beat ONS Sneek 3-2 in the Dutch second division over the weekend to add to his run of impressive performances.
“We were 0-1 behind during the game, but then I scored twice in a row within five minutes," he said after the game.
"I came strong for the first goal for my husband. I then dribbled through the defense and worked the ball behind the keeper.
The other goal came from a combination with our offside player. From that I received a cross ball that I worked in in the short corner. "
"I don't score often, but I'm actually more of the assists," says the defender.
“Normally I do regularly come for the goal, but then I often give the ball to my teammate. This time I made the hit myself. Feel better? Make a goal, because it will be in your name. That gives a special feeling. "
