Ghana defender Samuel Inkoom wants total support ahead of the opening World Cup qualifier against Lesotho on June 1.
The Black Stars tackle the Crocodiles at Kumasiââ¬â¢s Baba Yara stadium knowing victory will inspire confidence ahead of the crunch tie against African Champions Zambia eight days later.
The Black Stars have enjoyed tremendous and an unparallel support anytime they play in the countryââ¬â¢s second largest city and Ukraine-based right full back does not expects anything less.
ââ¬ÅKumasi is our home and we love playing there. We want to urge the fans to come out in their numbers to support us,â⬠Inkoom said
ââ¬ÅWe want to start the campaign on a positive note. But we can achieve that and more if they (fans) come and filled the stadia and cheer us on.
ââ¬ÅThe task ahead are big but weââ¬â¢re every determined t surmount it. We have good team and we will pray that our dear Ghanaian soccer fans will continue believe in us.
Lesotho has been reforming their national team after they failed to enter the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, focusing instead of building its youth team.
They could prove tricky for the Black Stars.
