Santos starlet Yeferson Soteldo has revealed his dream of playing for Premier League side Manchester United in an interview with Venezuelan broadcaster La Tele Tuya.

The highly rated 22-year-old has drawn links to several European clubs in recent weeks and months including the Red Devils fellow Premier League club Everton.

Soteldo has certainly not hidden his desire to join Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side and this is now the second time he has professed his dream of playing for the 20 time English champions.

β€œI don't hide that one of my greatest dreams is to play for Manchester United, but today my head is 100% focused to Santos. I would like to win the Copa Libertadores with this team.”

As part of the interview Soteldo also blasted Santos president Jose Carlos Peres for his recent comments wherein he stated he wanted to give Inter the first option to sign him.

β€œIt annoyed me that the president said what he said. It effectively opened up the possibility for people to publish things that are not true.”

Soteldo has been with Santos since January 2019 and is under contract with them until the end of 2022. The Venezuelan national team winger has made 36 appearances across all competitions for Santos in which he has scored 10 goals and provided seven assists.
