Sassuolo star reveals change in character

Sassuolo forward Domenico Berardi has admitted to a change in character in the build up to their clash with AC Milan.

The 21-year-old has an excellent record against the Rossoneri and wants to add to the six he’s scored so far this campaign.

“It’s not often you score four goals against Milan, it’s a memory I will carry with me forever,” Berardi told Sky Sports Italia.

“The Rossoneri are coming off a good run of games, they have shown their strength, in both Serie A and in the Coppa Italia.

“Milan are a very strong team, but we’re not far behind them in Serie A, and we’re confident after our victory over Lazio.

“Our goal is safety and we’ve reached that, it’s been difficult for me personally, but I’m working every day on improving.

“My character has changed a lot, I’m now much calmer and you can see the results of this.”

The one-time Juventus player has garnered a huge amount of interest, including clubs based in England.
