German side Schalke have included Ghana midfielder Anthony Annan in his 24-man squad for a ten-day training programme in Qatar, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The 26-year-old has not played a game at the Veltins Arena since returning from a loan spell at Spanish side Osasuna and was expected to leave the Royal Blues in January.
But after returning to training in December after a long injury lay-off, Keller has added Annan to his 24-man squad for the trip - meaning he still has the former Ghana regular in his plans.
Compatriot Kevin-Prince Boateng is also in the squad but Dutch hit-man Klaas -Jan Huntelaar is out with long term injury.
