Seidu Yahaya - a talented midfielder for Ghana's U23 side

Ghanaian midfielder Seidu Yahaya is vying for place in the country's U23 team following outstanding performances in the Israeli top flight.

The 21-year-old, fomer player of Greek side AEK Athens, currenlty plays for giants Maccabi Haifa.

Yahaya has been setting up goals for the strikers in his club but like many other Ghanaians players in Israel, they don't get to showcase their talents to their countrymen.

Yahaya started his career at Tema Youth in 2006 he managed to play 17 matches and score 1 goal in 2 years.

In 2009, Yahaya was from Tema Youth transferred to AEK Athens.

Although he made some good appearances in the start of the 2009–2010 season, Yahaya fell out of favor with Dusan Bajevic quickly and was never featured again.

He was signed by Maccabi Haifa in 2010 where has been playing regularly and a chance to be observed by Ghana's U23 coaches could boost his career.
