Sekou Nkrumah, son of Ghana?s first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah says the election Of Dr Abu Sakara Forster will not in any way help the electoral fortunes of the Convention People?s Party (CPP) in the December polls.

Dr Sekou Nkrumah insist the CPP must concentrate on building its strength in parliament or go into an alliance with any of the bigger parties as the elections approach.

Dr. Nkrumah in an interview with XYZ News said the exit of Dr Paa Kwesi Ndoum may further worsen the performance of the CPP in the upcoming elections.

I think the performance will still be a poor one and I am not too sure if they can also impress if it comes to winning parliamentary seats?I am not seeing a way forward.

Meanwhile, a leading member of the CPP, F.A Jantua who had earlier told XYZ News that he preferred Dr Abu Sakara to Bright Akwetey believes the newly elected presidential candidate will better represent the ideals of the party.

He urged the party to fall on China to learn some lessons in developing a socialist state.
