Sellas Tetteh cuts links to vacant Ghana job

Ghanaian coach Sella Tetteh is refusing to be drawn on speculation linking him to the vacant to the Black Stars job.

Tetteh, now Rwanda coach, served as an assistant for the Black Stars for three years and was assistant to Serb Ratomir Dujkovic at the 2006 World Cup finals in Germany.

The reigning Caf African coach of the year has distanced himself from the Ghana job for now as he leads the Amavubi Stars in the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

“I am concentrating on Rwanda in the meantime because I am enjoying the work I have started here,” he tells KickOffGhana.com. “Anything relating to the Ghana job must wait until someone from the Ghana Football Association says something to me.”

Tetteh guided Ghana's Under-20 team to win the 2009 Fifa World Youth Championship in Egypt-the first for any African country.
