Senegal would only want to meet Ghana in the grand finale at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations according to their technical director, Fall Amsatou.

The Terranga Lions currently posess one of Africa's most potent fowrad lines, with all their players in the striking department in tip-top form head of next year's finals in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

Nevertheless, Amsatou insist their chances of annexing the crown will be reduced significantly if they are paired with the Black Stars at the group stage.

"Yes we have very good players in our team but we wouldn't like to play Ghana at the group stage," he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

"Ghana is one of the strong sides in the tournament and they also stand the chance to win the tournament as we also do.

"But we would only want to play Ghana in the finals and not the group stage so I hope we avoid them in Saturday's draw."

A 1-1 scoreline was recorded the last time the two teams played each other in an international friendly in August 2007 in a game played in London.

Ghana alongside Cote d’Ivoire and tournament hosts, Gabon and Equatorial Guinea will avoid each other at the group stage being seeded ahead of Saturday’s draw in Malabo.
