Sensational Ghanaian winger Alphonso Davies set to make league bow for injury-hit Bayern Munich

Ghanaian-born Canadian international Alphonso Davies could make his German Bundesliga bow for Bayern Munich on Friday.

The Bavarian giants will entertain TSG Hoffenheim in the first gameof the Bundesliga after the winter break.

However, Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman are the only two fit wingers following injuries to key players like Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben.

The shortage of widemen in the Reds team could force the hand of coach Niko Kovac to hand Davies his debut.

Davies joined the Allianz Arena outfit in the summer in a $22 million transfer from Canadian side Vancouver Whitecaps but joined his teammates just before the end of the first round of the German Bundesliga season.

He made his debut for the side last Sunday in a mid-season warm-up competition against Borussia Monchengladbach.
