Serbian coach Milovan Rajevac has started his second stint as Ghana head coach.

Rajevac took charge of his first training session on Tuesday as the Black Stars prepare for crucial World Cup qualifiers against Zimbabwe.

The 67-year-old was fully involved in the training and was even spotted running and kicking footballs, just like the players.

He was reappointed in September after Charles Akonnor was sacked over poor results.

Rajevac signed a one-year deal, but renewable on the condition he achieves qualification to 2022 FIFA World Cup and wins next year’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.

In his first spell which lasted for two years, Rajevac qualified for the World Cup and made Ghana only the third African country to reach the quarter-final. He also came very close to winning the 2010 Afcon in Angola.

He will be in the dugout for the first time since his reappointment on Saturday when Ghana host Zimbabwe at the Cape Coast stadium.

Three days later, the same fixture will be played in Harare.

Both games are must wins for Rajevac and his boys if they want to qualify for Qatar's World Cup.
