SERIE A - Allegri: ''we did waste too many scoring opportunities''

Published on: 20 November 2021

Despite their 2-0 win over Lazio this evening, Massimiliano Allegri believes Juventus squandered too many chances.

To earn all three points, the Bianconeri required two penalty goals from Leonardo Bonucci, although they generated other chances that should have resulted in more goals.

Allegri claims that if they hadn't been so eager, they could have taken more chances.

“I never watch the penalties!” Allegri told DAZN as quoted by Football Italia.

“We had a good game, but we did waste too many scoring opportunities, because this is a team with great potential and the ability to reach the opposition goal, then we are too hasty.”

Juve is in desperate need of goals, which could cost them points in the long run if they don't score enough in their games.
