SERIE A - Inter could consider January exit for Perisic

Published on: 17 November 2021

Inter now seem resigned to losing Ivan Perisic for free and it doesn’t seem as if the Croatian will sign a new deal at the club.

This comes from La Gazzetta dello Sport, who claim that the player’s choice is to not renew and his choice is now irreversible. While Inter won’t be happy with his departure, Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio would be happy to make sure that Inter’s wage spending reduces.

And for financial reasons, Inter could even consider a January exit such that they can earn something from his sale. If clubs can spend something for the player, Inter will be more than happy to sell him in January.
