Scoring his first international goal for Inter Milan last night, 29-year old prominent Dutch centre-back Stefan De Vrij stated:
“It was like a final match for us, and I think that was clear from the way we approached the game. We were desperate to win it, and that's what we did.
We had lots of still balls, and we have some great takers – we made the most of those opportunities by scoring two from set-pieces tonight. I want to thank Denzel [Dumfries] for the assist.
