As reported on Inter Milan official website, Matteo Darmian (in the pic above) and Andrea Ranocchia underwent diagnostic tests at the Istituto Humanitas in Rozzano.
Darmian has a minor strain (rectus femoris muscle) in his left thigh. Ranocchia has a minor strain (adductor brevis muscle) in his right thigh. The medical status of the two players will be re-assessed in a few days' time.
Darmian, previously playing for Parma, Manchester United, and Torino, is playing for Neroazzurri since 2020/21. A valuable backup last season, for Milan-based side to achieve Serie A title, he got promoted to regular status under Simone Inzaghi's guidance, also out of Achraf Hakimi leaving for good.
