Asked about the forthcoming future of 25-year old Brazilian international central midfielder Arthur Melo, either inside Juventus ranks or away from them, former Barcelona FC playmaker's agent, Federico Pastorello, stated:
"He was chosen for Maurizio Sarri back then, and he's clearly not fitting into Allegri's game. They're clearly happy with how he managed to kickstart his course, after having recovered from surgery, but you can't keep such a player as a substitute. Besides, Brazil head coach Tite told him he's saving a Wordl Cup spot for him, though only as long as he gets to play on a regular basis. That's why he can leave Juventus indeed, during upcoming winter window: for another Italian club, for Spain, or even for England".
Playing for Bianconeri since 2020/21, Arthur is currently on a deal with Serie A struggling giants until June 2025.
