SERIE A - Juventus unwilling to be involved in auction for Monaco star

Published on: 19 November 2021

Juventus are said to be unwilling to be involved in a mega-auction in the sale of Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported that while Juve like the Frenchman and they did try to sign him last summer before they signed Manuel Locatelli, his price remains unknown. The presumption is that he could cost €40 million plus bonuses and if Juve had to spread their payments for Locatelli, they’d struggle to do that for Tchouameni.

There is the plan to sell Adrien Rabiot and Aaron Ramsey to raise funds and while that could raise the possibilities, Monaco are expected to wait till the summer to sell the player as that will help them earn more through the sale by sparking an auction. Juve don’t want to take part in auction as they’re short of finances.
