Inter striker Lautaro Martinez has spoken out after the club’s 3-2 win over Napoli in Serie A.
Martinez scored Inter’s third goal of the game and it proved to be a decisive strike for the Nerazzurri, who inflicted Napoli’s first defeat of the season on them.
The Argentine spoke to DAZN and talked about why he apologised to the fans during his celebration: “I apologised because sometimes, I made mistakes. I hadn’t scored for almost a month. I always work for Inter, the problem is not whether I score or not, but if Inter win. Scoring is always a beautiful emotion.”
Inter are now only four points behind Napoli and Milan in the Serie A table, following today’s win.
