SERIE A - Maurizio Sarri: “I don’t care about Juventus fans.”

Published on: 22 November 2021

Lazio manager Maurizio Sarri has stated that he doesn’t care about Juventus fans anymore, even though he managed the club for a season.

Sarri’s side picked up a 2-0 loss to Juventus on Saturday, as Leonardo Bonucci scored two penalties. In the post-game press conference, Sarri was asked about how Juventus fans greeted him.

He stated: “I don’t care about the Juventus fans. I coached great players, it ends there, I don’t care.”

When asked about the team’s performance, he stated: “In terms of performance, the team played a good game, unfortunately we were unable to come up with dangerous attacks. Ciro, a striker with 35-40 goals per season, is difficult to replace. Will he be in Moscow? I don’t know.”
