Newly promoted Italian Serie A side Spezia Calcio have joined the race to sign Ghanaian midfielder Godfred Donsah.
Spezia are keen on augmenting their squad with Donsah in their maiden Serie A campaign from Bologna FC.
Newspaper ll Secolo xix has reported that Spezia sporting director Guido Angelozzi has met with Bologna CEO Claudio Finucci over a possible loan move for the former Ghana U20 star.
The 24-year-old spent the 2019/2020 season at Belgian side Cercle Brugge where he made 20 appearances in all competitions.
Russian outfit FK Rostov and US Lecce have all been linked with a move for the talented midfielder this summer.
Donsah has a contract with Bologna which runs until June 2022.
