Ghanaian duo Richmond Boakye-Yiadom and Yussif Raman Chibsah were in action for Sassuolo on Saturday as they got promoted to Serie A for the first time in their 91-year history.
Their 1-0 win against Livorno was good enough to see them up in a feisty match which saw them reduced to nine men, and the visitors to ten.
With Livorno throwing men forward in the final seconds, a quick counter-attack allowed Simone Missiroli to sneak in and grab a winner.
Striker Boakye-Yaidom, lasted 79 minutes on the pitch but midfielder Chibsah played the full throttle.
Boakye, 19, finished as the club's joint top scorer with 11 goals to finish his loan move from Juventus on a high.
Promoted along with Sassuolo are Hellas Verona who second finish on the table following a 0-0 draw with Empoli.
