Roma are close to sealing a new contract for their midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini.
Journalist Francesco Balzani has reported that Roma and the midfielder’s agents met today to try and find an agreement on a new deal. And the white smoke could arrive soon enough – even in the next few hours or tomorrow.
Tiago Pinto was present at the meeting with the player’s agents and there is willingness from both parties to continue the partnership. As things stand, Pellegrini wants to earn as much as the club’s best players and sign a deal till the summer of 2026.
His current deal expires next summer and Jose Mourinho has already praised the Italian for his performances and abilities.
