The 4th round of Serie A TIM 2022/2023 has come to an end. Here are some statistics and interesting facts about the matches played (Opta data):

Mike Maignan has saved 31% of the penalties faced in the big-5 European leagues (9 out of 29, his first in Serie A), the joint-highest percentage among the goalkeepers that have faced at least 25 penalties since 2015/16 season onwards.

Inter have won eight out of eight matches against promoted sides in Serie A under Simone Inzaghi, including two such games this term, with an aggregate score of 25-5.

With the brace against Monza, Paulo Dybala became the 8th player to reach 100 goals and 50 assists in Serie A since Opta started collecting the assists data (2004/05).

Alex Meret is the first Napoli’s goalkeeper to save a penalty in a Serie A home game since Morgan De Sanctis (January 17th 2010 vs Palermo).

Arkadiusz Milik has become the 350th different scorer for Juventus in the Italian top-flight.

Teun Koopmeiners has scored three goals against Torino, the first Dutch player with at least three goal in the same Serie A game since Marco van Basten (4 goals on November 8th 1992).

Salernitana have collected five points after Serie A MD4, only in 1947/48 they have accumulated more after the same number of rounds in the top flight (seven).
