Fiorentina's excellent start to the season continued on Saturday with a 2-1 win against Genoa, bringing them level with Serie A's top clubs.
Vincenzo Italiano's squad won their third match in a row thanks to Riccardo Saponara's brilliantly hit opening on the hour and a Giacomo Bonaventura goal a minute from time.
The Tuscans sit in fourth place, tied on nine points with Jose Mourinho's Roma, AC Milan, and Napoli, all of which have yet to play this weekend.
Genoa, who scored a late equalizer through Domenico Criscito, are in 14th place with three points after their third loss of the season.
