Defender Seth Owusu is keen to make the most of his invitation to the national Under 23-team camp as he eyes a slot in the final squad for next month’s All Africa Games.

The 21-year-old left back is one of three Mauves and Yellows in camp preparing for next month's mult-sports event.

He must fight for one of the 21 places to be decided by head coach Akwasi Appiah.

''I am determined to make the grades because a lot of things happened when I was in America and this is an opportunity to prove my work. I'm very serious about this," Owusu told the club's website.

Owusu has returned home after a spell at Major League Soccer side Chivas USA.

The Black Meteors failed to progress from the Group stage at the last edition in Algeria four years ago and they will play Premier League division side Ebusua Dwarfs on Wednesday.
