Sevilla are out of the Champions League after defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach.

Sevilla's hopes of reaching the knock-out stages ended in Germany with a 4-2 defeat to Borussia Monchengladbach.

The hosts kept alive their hopes of a third-place finish in Group D and Europa League football as they stormed into a commanding lead, courtesy of strikes from Lars Stindl, Fabian Johnson and Raffael.

Vitolo pulled one back for Sevilla but Stindl immediately restored the three-goal cushion, before Ever Banega's injury-time penalty for the Spaniards.
