Former AC Milan legend Andriy Shevchenko has today began his role as Ukraine's assistant manger.
Speaking at a special ceremony held by the Ukraine Football Federation, the 39-year-old said, 'For me it's a great honour and a huge responsibility. Today I start my comeback to football after four years of leave.'
The 2004 Ballon d'Or winner is Ukraine's all-time leading scorer with 48 goals in 111 matches.
